FOREHEAD LINES – The horizontal lines on your forehead. When you raise your eyebrows, they become more visible.

Look in the mirror. Don’t smile. Do you see any lines on your forehead?

If you do, those are wrinkles AT REST.

If you don’t see any lines, raise your eyebrows now. See the lines? Those are wrinkles IN MOTION.

When we’re young, we don’t have wrinkles at rest. But when we age, those wrinkles appear when our face isn’t moving. These forehead lines get deeper with age.

SKIN TIP – To minimize the deepening, apply an anti-aging serum to your forehead, concentrating on the lines.

I like to apply a neuropeptide serum, which temporarily relaxes the muscle contractions that lead to the lines in the first place. Neuropeptides are sometimes called Botox mimics.

I have talked about these kind of peptides here and there. You can read more about how they’re different from other types of peptides here: All About Peptides In Skin Care.

The more invasive way of treating these lines is to get Botox or dermal fillers. When the lines get too deep, topical treatments won’t help and only Botox or fillers can reduce their depth.
