I was inspired by greenbeauty guru @ruhimaach to try these. Wish I got these sooner (in the dead middle of winter when my skin was craving oil 🙂 I’m not in the mood for oil, now that it’s getting humid. But these smell SO good!
I’ve been dabbing 1 drop on the drier parts of my face, over my moisturizer as the final step of my routine at night. You can also mix 1-2 drops of oil into your moisturizer. These are very concentrated – a little goes a long way.
There are 18 oil serums that you can choose. They are grouped by Skin Type and Function (Your Goal). All of them are enticing. I had a hard time choosing. But in the end, I decided to go for unique (hadn’t tried blueberry yet) or exotic (baobab, sarsaparilla). Also, I wanted to try an oil specifically made for the eye area.
This packaging is well done and worth mentioning. Small, dark bottles are ideal for oils. Why? Because oils go bad (rancid) quickly. They oxidize in the presence of light and oxygen, just like cooking oil does. With a small size, you can finish it sooner. Then when you run out, you just buy another bottle for a FRESH batch of oil.
TIP – Keep your oils & all other skincare products AWAY FROM LIGHT. In a cool, dark, dry place. If you are not using your oil for a while, store them in the fridge or a cool basement.
