Sunscreen Photostabilizers

This is a list of some ingredients used to stabilize active ingredients in sunscreens – called sunscreen photostabilizers.

A note on reading this chart:

• Each row represents the same ingredient, which can be called by different names. I have included the names under 3 ingredient nomenclature systems — not to make things complicated, but because there is no rhyme or reason when certain names are used.
• You will often come across the shorter and simpler Trade Name when it is discussed in the media or literature, but the longer INCI name is used on the actual cosmetic product label.
• You can sort each column to find ingredients quickly.
